Alrighty, here are a few of my poems. Enjoeh =]

Broken-
The peace is gone
The deed is done
How long can I go on, when I can’t be strong?
He got his token
My heart is now broken,
Hope he enjoys what I had spoken
My love is now his
I wonder what he will do with it…
It’s of no value,
Why then steal it?
A hard question,
With no seeming answer…

Ignorance-
Ignorance is bliss…blissful death,
The perfect line for your last breath,
A sorrowful sigh meaning pain,
That last look of “love” seemed such a strain,
Happiness no longer exists in a worlds of lies,
They say they love, but they have empty eyes,
A world full of corruption,
Nothing more than people of destruction,
So we take our last breath and say,
Ignorance is bliss…blissful death…no more, no way.

Stuck-
Another time and place,
A different person, a different face,
In the past, all erased
It comes back to haunt me in the night,
I wake up from screams from my fright,
I sigh, hoping for relief,
I sigh to ease my grief,
It won’t leave my heart,
I’m begging for a fresh new start,
But it doesn’t come,
So I feel left alone,
Another time and place,
A different person, a different face,
In the past, all erased
I’m here, you’re not, I’m here, he’s gone.

Nightmare-
Terrified of my own mind,
I lie awake at night,
Struggling to be alright,
My nightmare comes to haunt me,
While I think of it’s kind,
I pray for relief,
But all I feel is utter grief,
What happened to me?
Who I was is no longer who I am,
What happened to being happy?

Burning-
My heart is burning,
burning up for you,
what happened to the girl you knew too?
She’s not here I’m in her place,
is that a good thing or will you lie to my face?
Sweet burning,
going straight through my heart,
you are my life,
but let’s be smart,
we know it will hurt,
but we have each other,
so let’s not be curt,
here let’s have another.
I watch you raise the bottle to your lips and wish I could feel their softness,
you who are so beautiful and perfect in my eyes,
we lie here together to watch the stars,
we both cannot stand the feeling of goodbyes,
our hands touch and I feel a shiver,
as if the heavens knew we were to be forever…

True Friend-
You make my heart soar
Like it’s on the wings of a butterfly
You make my stomach roll
Like it’s on a roller coaster ride
You make me smile as if there’s no pain in this world so wide
I love you and know that you’ll be by my side
Together we fight our battles
Winning the fights and fighting the war
We’ll make it together just wait till it’s all o’er
I’ll be a friend strong and true…forget the drama, forget the hurt
We don’t need it in our little world
Relax and remember I’m here for you
Life is a roller coaster ride, we have our up moments and our moments in strife
Just forget about all the others and remember we’ll never find another quite like each other.

Wasted Time-
I have a smiley face on my hand,
A look of pain on my mouth,
A ton of time to waste,
And a brain turned to paste,
Instead of friendship I receive pain,
I waste my heart on someone who does nothing but take,
No more, no less, all in all- heartache.

Weak-
My heart is on my sleeve for all to see
Happily, he uses his power over me
Making me weak at the knees
My heart pounding in my ears
I smile when he sings about the years
The reality is plain
But I don’t want to hear
That he doesn’t feel the same
So I cover my ears
I only can dream
That things are not as they seem.
I don’t know how to feel
When he smiles his smile at me
He makes me feel so weak
…*sigh*…
I only can hope
People can’t see.
